All Great Lakes standard AR-15 rifles are chambered in .223 Wylde and feature a 16" barrel in your choice of a beautiful 416r stainless steel or an ultra-smooth 4150 black nitride finish. The .223 Wylde chamber, fires both .223 Remington and 5.56 Nato with maximized efficiency and the 1:8" twist rate is ideal for keeping most bullet weights accurate. The heavy barrel incorporates a carbine length gas system, is threaded standard 1/2 x 28, and is fitted with a ported compensator. Each barrel is surrounded by a 15.25" 7075 aluminum M-Lok handguard allowing you to attach the accessories your mission requires.

The heart of the rifle is a matching 7075 T6 aluminum upper and lower receiver set with all mil-spec parts completing the build.
